4-Aminocinnamic acid(4-Aminocinnamic acid) is an organic compound with the chemical formula C9H9NO2. It appears as a white crystalline solid, soluble in hot water and ethanol, and slightly soluble in ether and chloroform. Method:
The preparation method of 4-Aminocinnamic acid is as follows:
1. Benzaldehyde (C6H5CHO) and ammonia are reacted in ethanol to form benzamide (C6H5C(O)NH2).
2. Under alkaline conditions, nucleophilic addition reaction occurs with Salicylaldehyde (C6H5CHOH) and benzamide to generate 4-Aminocinnamic acid.
Safety Information:
- 4-Aminocinnamic acid under normal use conditions, it is generally believed that there is no obvious harm to human health.
-but it can irritate the eyes, respiratory system and skin.
-During operation, wear suitable protective gloves, goggles and protective masks, avoid contact with skin and eyes, and avoid inhaling dust or vapors.
-If exposed, rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical help.
